While these function perfectly adequately as baking cups, they don't merely slide apart like most. They way in which they were cut and pressed together causes them to stick to one another, causing much frustration whenever you try to separate them.

I ordered two packages of these baking cups and the first package was good. The second package was not -- cups were very hard to separate from each other, and when I was finally able to separate them, the cups were mis-shapen and did not sit in the baking pan right.

They become see-through after baking, but do a fine job if you're just making cupcakes for friends and family. I bought them for jumbo cupcakes that I was selling, and I was not very happy with the result.
